About Us - Multi-Services International Ltd

Multi-Services International Ltd., formerly Multi-Savings Card International Ltd. was set up on 22nd May 1978. Originally, the company was engaged in the cash card business. Multi-Savings Card became a household name amongst cost-conscious Maltese who were intent on getting the best value for their money on anything they purchased. When it became fashionable in the early 1980s to take the short trip to Sicily for shopping, the use of the card was extended to also include retail and entertainment establishments in Catania, Siracusa, Taormina, Giardini Naxos and Palermo. Later, Multi-Savings Card was also honoured in London, England bringing the number of establishments exhibiting the Multi-Savings Card logo on their shop window to the 1,000 mark.

Throughout the 1980s, the company was also at the forefront of the Maltese tourist industry handling a sizeable number of incoming tourists and taking care of their requirements from the moment they land until their departure. For seven years, Multi-Services International was also very actively involved in the promotion of holiday ownership. Now, the experience acquired over the years is once again being used in the recently-launched, internet-based Holidays Direct.

In May 1997, Multi-Services International ventured into the world of IT and since then, it has been steadily building up and constantly improving its image and presence on the worldwide web. The flagship portals of the company are Malta Online, Europe Online and, since 7th March 2005, Flexibooking - the online real-time holiday booking engine.
